- The Associate I, Electromechanical Technical Support (Science/Tech/Engineering Path), is primarily responsible for applying technical knowledge to design, develop, and maintain electro-mechanical systems. You will troubleshoot, test, and assemble assemblies, install and calibrate equipment, and assist in developing technical solutions. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and staying current with system advances.

- Apply technical knowledge to design, develop, implement, operate, and maintain electro-mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot, test, and assemble electro-mechanical assemblies, including reworking, repairing, and modifying non-conforming equipment.
- Install, calibrate, test, repair, and upgrade equipment and systems, including device components, control equipment, and facility infrastructure.
- Assist engineers in developing technical solutions for device and system operations.
- Inspect and maintain equipment using tools and diagnostic software.
- Support project goals through effective task completion and decision-making.
- Adhere to GxP regulations by following SOPs, maintaining documentation, and ensuring quality control.
- Meet individual job requirements and contribute to organizational compliance.
- Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.All associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard.
- Proven advanced level skills in 2 or more electro-mechanic core disciplines Mechanical, Fluid Power (pneumatic, hydraulic,) Electrical/ Control Systems.
- Competence in preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Operation and maintenance of pumps, valves, piping (mechanical joints, tri-clamp systems, sanitary fittings).
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Electrical control circuits (24VDC–480VAC), Instrumentation (pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, conductivity meters, TOC analyzers), VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives),PLC-controlled systems (Siemens).
- Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Change control and deviation investigations.
- Ability to support IQ/OQ/PQ activities, Environmental monitoring requirements, Internal and external audit responses.
- Reading and interpreting P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams), As-built drawings.
- Familiarity for Maintenance and repair of Centrifugal and positive-displacement pumps, Agitators and mixers, Mechanical seals, packing, and bearings, Valves (ball, gate, check, control, relief, emergency shutdown),Pressure vessels and storage tanks, Heat exchangers and cooling systems.
Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training. Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization.
