As an MES Project Modeler you will support the Siemens Opcenter MES rollout across the Client’s diverse manufacturing sites.
You will translate process maps and operational requirements into fully configured workflows within the Opcenter ecosystem.
This position requires close partnership with the manufacturing operations, quality, engineering, and IT teams to ensure the digital representation of the shop-floor processes deliver the efficiency, standardization, traceability, and compliance in the production environment.
The ideal candidate understands both manufacturing operations and MES configuration principles, with hands on experience modeling workflows, rules, and integration touchpoints within Siemens Opcenter.
Key Responsibilities:
Workflow Modeling & Configuration:
Convert process maps, user requirements, and manufacturing procedures into functional Opcenter Execution workflows.
Configure MES objects including operations, work instructions, process steps, workflows, rules, forms, data collection plans, and electronic records.
Manage MES master data and ensure alignment with SAP, automation, and other shop floor systems.
Develop and maintain workflow logic, business rules, and exception handling to support manufacturing operations.
Collaboration & Requirements Management:
Partner with manufacturing engineers, process owners, and production teams to validate requirements and ensure MES functionality aligns with real world processes.
Collaborate with IT/OT teams to support system integrations (ERP, historians, automation, etc.).
Participate in solution reviews, design reviews and requirements workshops.
Testing, Validation & Deployment:
Create and execute test scripts for workflow validation, functional testing, and system changes.
Support change control processes, documentation, and release management.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Business, Science or Engineering.
Minimum: 3-5 years as a Subject Matter Expert within Manufacturing.
Leadership skills & a solid understanding of Site operations and manufacturing processes with prior experience of leading work streams.
