- The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the Power BI architecture, leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Power Automate, M language, and scripting tools to enable secure, scalable, and high-performance data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Power BI Architecture & Development
- Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end Power BI architecture, including:
- Data ingestion (via Fabric Pipelines & OneLake)
- Semantic model design and optimization
- DAX measures and calculations
- Report and dashboard creation with UX best practices
- Define and enforce governance, naming conventions, and version control in Power BI artifacts.
- Create and manage enterprise datasets, certified dataflows, and shared workspaces with security and scalability in mind.
- Microsoft Fabric Engineering:
- Utilize Microsoft Fabric capabilities, including:
- Direct Lake, Lakehouses, and OneLake
- Data Pipelines and Notebooks
- Orchestrate robust, automated, and reusable data workflows that support real-time and batch analytics.
- Power Automate & Workflow Automation
- Design and deploy Power Automate flows to support:
- BI report refresh scheduling
- Alerting and notification systems
- Integration with third-party systems via connectors and APIs
- Automate manual business processes to improve efficiency and auditability.
- Data Transformation & Scripting
- Use Power Query (M language) for advanced data shaping, cleaning, and transformation logic
- Report deployment
- Data validation
- Integration with Azure services or REST APIs
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
- Engage with business users to gather requirements, perform needs assessments, and translate them into technical solutions.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Create documentation, technical design specs, and user guides to support solution delivery and adoption.
