Position Summary


The Learning and Development (L&D) Communication Specialist will support the L&D Change Management and Communications Lead to develop and deploy function and program-specific marketing and communication strategies that ensure successful adoption and realization of learning and development programs and initiatives.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Develops and executes marketing and communications plans and messaging to ensure stakeholders are informed and actively engaged
  • Develops and distributes communications on overall learning strategy and initiatives
  • Develops and distributes learning catalog-level communication
  • Develops standards and templates for program and offering-level communication
  • Develops and distributes communication and marketing about existing programs and courses available
  • Coordinates communications with Learning Consultants as appropriate
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education: Minimum Bachelors

Years of Experience: 3-4


  • Excellent writing skills (clear and concise) for various communication channels (email, websites, newsletters, presentations, video scripts, internal advertisements for learning programs, etc.)
  • Ability to streamline verbose content to focus on the main message concisely and effectively.
  • Excellent ability to analyze and understand global audiences/personas and tailor communications accordingly
  • Ability to measure marketing and communication effectiveness (i.e. metrics) and adjust/adapt marketing and communication strategies and copy appropriately
  • Excellent speaking and presentation skills and ability to present to senior leaders if needed  
  • Experience developing and executing marketing and communication plans
  • Very detail oriented
  • Generates creative ideas through research and resourcefulness
  • Ability to work in a complex, fast-paced, constantly changing environment, and meet project timelines
  • Ability to manage multiple project timelines running in parallel
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in the Microsoft suite including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel.


  • Experience using Adobe suite
  • Experience building and maintaining SharePoint sites
  • Change Management experience
